| dc.description | La Patagonia cuenta con una larga memoria de despojo, lo que algunos autores/as llaman la larga memoria del extractivismo. En las últimas décadas, observamos una profundización de dicha memoria, ya que en esta etapa de acumulación capitalista el sistemático saqueo de los bienes comunes se combina nuevamente con la violencia. Estos procesos, que datan desde la Conquista, impactan directamente sobre las mujeres mapuce. La avanzada del modelo extractivista perpetúa la penetración y dominación territorial que los/as mapuce padecen desde hace siglos, en especial las mujeres. Esto demuestra la estrecha vinculación entre extractivismo-acumulación y patriarcado. A partir de ello, sin perder de vista los extensos debates existentes sobre el tema, en este trabajo nos proponemos abordar al Kvme Felen (sistema de vida autónomo) como una alternativa que incluye el reto de re-pensar las relaciones sociales y de género. Entendemos que los planes de vida mapuce aparecen como mapas cognitivos útiles al momento de hacer y pensar lo y la política, el desarrollo económico y las relaciones humano-naturaleza y humano-humano. Por ello, nos animamos a presentar al Kvme Felen y a la complementariedad como parte de la "utopía mapuce", en tanto objetivo colectivo-comunitario que trasciende la inmediatez e impulsa la participación y lucha política. | - |
| dc.description | The Patagonia region has a long memory of dispossession, which some authors refer as a long memory of extractivism. In recent decades, we see a deepening of that memory, since in this stage of capitalist accumulation, a systematic plundering of commons goods is being combined with violence. These processes, which happen since the Conquest, have a direct impact on the Mapuce women. The advancement of the extractive model perpetuates the penetration and the territorial domination that the Mapuce people have suffered for centuries, especially women. This demonstrates the close link between extractivist accumulation and patriarchy. Based on this, without losing sight of the extensive ongoing debates on the subject, in this work we propose to address the Kvme Felen (autonomous system of life) as an alternative that includes the challenge of re-thinking social and gender relations. We understand that the life plans of the Mapuce people appear as a cognitive map, which is useful when doing and thinking politics, economic development and human-nature relations and human-human relations. Therefore, we present Kvme Felen and complementarity as part of the “Mapuce utopia”, to wit, as a collective-community objective that transcends immediacy and encourages participation and political struggle. | - |
