| dc.description | En el presente trabajo el análisis en contrapunto de los diarios y escritos autobiográficos del obispo español Pedro Casaldáliga entre 1976 y 1983 permite reconstruir los procedimientos narrativos que el género autobiográfico brinda para dar cuenta de la nueva mirada religioso-poética del intelectual a partir de su llegada a Brasil. En una abierta crítica al desarrollismo implantado en la región Amazónica a partir del gobierno de facto instaurado en Brasil en 1964, su obra da cuenta del costo social que las políticas agrarias impusieron sobre las poblaciones indígenas de la región. Los problemas de la Tierra, el oprimido (indígena, campesino, posseiro), y la integración continental Latinoamericana revisten la mirada anticapitalista del poeta que recupera las reflexiones de la Teología de la Liberación en su opción preferencial por los pobres, en su reivindicación del cristianismo primitivo, en su politización del Evangelio, y en la encarnación histórica del proceso de liberación, con una fuerte influencia de la pedagogía liberadora de Paulo Freire. | - |
| dc.description | The present investigation tries to analyze three of Pedro Casaldáliga’s diaries and autobiographies written between 1976 and 1983, in order to see how the narrative procedures of the autobiographic genre contribute to build the new poetic and religious perception the Spanish bishop had since his arrival to Brazil. In open criticism to the policies of economic development introduced in the Amazonian region by the Brazilian military government in 1964, Casaldáliga’s autobiographic literature represents the social costs the agricultural policies had over the native populations, as well as the problem of theland, the oppressed (native population, rural workers, posseiro) and the continental integration of Latin America. The influence of Liberation Theology (the influence of socialism ideas, the preference for the poor, the demand for early Christianity, the Bible’s politicization, the importance of the historic process of liberation) and the experience Casaldáliga had in the Amazonian region contribute to create his conversion to an anti-capitalist thinking, with great influence of Paulo Freire’s liberating pedagogy. | - |
