| dc.description | Este artículo investiga los linchamientos en México en los años 2000-2011. Describe estadísticamente las principales dimensiones involucradas en las acciones de este periodo y propone una tipología de este fenómeno. La evolución histórica de estas acciones de violencia colectiva muestra un proceso de mayor complejidad en territorios cruzados por dinámicas comunitarias de organización social. En este sentido, es posible hablar de la constitución de los linchamientos como un "repertorio de acción" consolidado en la memoria colectiva, es decir, como una estrategia de seguridad popular ante la crisis estatal en la provisión de seguridad pública. | - |
| dc.description | This article investigates lynching in Mexico from 2000 to 2011. It describes statistically the main dimensions involved in the actions of this period and proposes a typology of this phenomenon. The historical evolution of these actions of collective violence shows a process of greater complexity in areas crossed by community dynamics of social organization. Therefore it is possible to talk about lynching as a "repertoire of contention" rooted in the collective memory, that is, a popular security strategy to face the crisis of the state in the provision of public security. | - |
