| dc.description | El trabajo propone una lectura de la obra novelística de Alberto Vanasco. Para ello, se centra en la tensión entre los procedimientos vanguardistas y las demandas realistas de la forma novelesca. Esta tensión posee un componente histórico: la pertenencia de su autor a una generación polarizada entre el compromiso político de izquierda y la necesidad de experimentación. Las novelas de Vanasco vuelven fecunda la contradicción entre realismo y surrealismo, pero también entre el magisterio de Borges y la novela como forma. La lectura propuesta pone en evidencia una continuidad que va desde el examen filosófico de la temporalidad hasta la cuestión de la conciencia del otro y del mundo. | - |
| dc.description | The paper proposes a reading of Alberto Vanasco’s novelistic work. It focuses on the tension between the avant-garde procedures and the realistic demands of the novel form. This tension has a historical component: the author’s belonging to a polarized generation between the left-wing political commitment and the need for experimentation. Vanasco’s novels make the contradiction between realism and surrealism and between Borges’s teachings and the novel as a form become fruitful. The proposed reading evidences a continuity that goes from the philosophical examination of temporality to the question of the consciousness of the “other” and of the world. | - |
