| dc.description | Se discuten diversos aspectos de la variabilidad de las propiedades físicas y químicas del cuero en relación con problemas de muestreo de dicho material (elección de la zona más representativa y determinación del tamaño de una muestra), La solución de esos problemas, aplicando un criterio estadístico, requiere, en cada caso, el conocimiento del valor de los respectivos parámetros de variación. Se analiza el estado actual del tema y se describe el procedimiento para determinar el numero de items que debe integrar una muestra teniendo en cuenta el valor de la Desviación Típica y de los límites de error de primera y segunda clase prefijados, utilizando un ejemplo práctico. | - |
| dc.description | Several aspects of the variability of the physical and ehemical properties of leather are discussed in conection with sampling problems of this material, such as selecting the most representative sampling area and the determination of sample size. The solution for these problems applying statistical criteria require in each case, to know the values of the respective variability parameters. The present state of this subject is discussed. The procedure to assess the amount of items that make up a sample taking into account the standard deviation and the specified limits for the first and second class errors is described.
