| dc.description | The main characteristics of the subsoil fo the South- East region of the Buenos Aires Province are given in detail in the geotechnic map described in this paper, that will be useful in future studies in relation with the highway and foundation engineering. There is an special reference to the "toscas" (caliche) found in great amount in the area and about the possibilities of their utilization in the construction of pavement bases and in warm mixtures for bituminous carpets. | - |
