At the micro level the cost of herbicides increases and an integrated management sought, but there is little information at a regional level and effects at the macro level in this work was suspended and conducted a survey that allows begin to measure the problem of weeds in agricultural production in the province of San Luis. Currently it estimated at a loss of 5% but is necessary to intensify work to show the current status, by area, the percentage occupation and advancing the impact of declining yields. dc.descriptionLa agricultura de la provincia de San Luis ha tenido un crecimiento ocupando hoy cerca del 10 % de la superficie productiva. Se difundió y expandió la siembra directa. Se utilizó glifosato como principal herbicida. El modelo productivo hoy casi no utiliza de labranzas, con malezas adaptadas y con una muy fuerte dependencia de control químico, con escasas rotaciones. En los últimos años comienzan a aparecer poblaciones de malezas de difícil control, se está trabajando en investigación de productos dosis recomendadas e identificación de nuevos biotipos. A nivel micro se incrementa el costo de herbicidas y se busca un manejo integral, pero es escasa la información a nivel región y los efectos a nivel macro en este trabajo se relevó y realizo una encuesta que permite comenzar a dimensionar el problema de las malezas en la producción agrícola de la provincia de San Luis. Se estima en la actualidad una perdida del 5% aunque es necesario intensificar los trabajos que muestren el estado actual, por zona, la ocupación porcentual y el avance en el impacto de disminución de rendimientos. Es necesario trabajar con prácticas que se adapten a cada circunstancia.-
