| dc.description | Este artículo pretende contribuir, desde un punto de vista sociológico, a entender las dinámicas internas y externas de la justicia penal en Argentina. En este sentido, buscaremos rastrear qué tiene de específico el trabajo de esta última y de qué manera — si esto fuera así— influyen otros actores en la conformación de dicha especificidad. Para ello comenzaremos por mencionar cuales son en la actualidad las disciplinas y actividades que toman a la justicia penal como un objeto de exploración distinto a otros. Luego pasaremos a desarrollar conceptos a partir de los cuales analizar el funcionamiento de instituciones y agencias que están involucrados con el fenómeno penal. Posteriormente señalaremos la importancia de algunas investigaciones pioneras en tanto modelos para la consolidación de una genuina sociología de la justicia penal en nuestro país. Por último, formularemos una serie de preguntas mediante las cuales ubicar a los tribunales penales en un lugar analítico distinto, puesto que estos tribunales necesitan ser investigados como uno de los factores, y no el menos importante, que contribuye a «traducir» determinadas causas sociales en efectos penales específicos. | - |
| dc.description | The purpose of this article is to contribute to understand, from a sociological perspective, the internal and external dynamics of criminal justice in Argentina. In this sense, we shall seek to track the specificities of the work performed by the latter and how other players affect the configuration of such specificities, if that were the case. For that purpose, we shall begin by mentioning the current disciplines and activities that take criminal justice as an object of exploration different from others. Then we shall move on to develop concepts from which we can analyze the operation of institutions and agencies involved in the criminal phenomenon. After that, we shall point out the importance of some ground-breaking investigations as models for the consolidation of a genuine sociology of criminal justice in our country. Finally, we shall raise a few questions that may enable us to locate criminal courts in a different analytical place, as these courts need to be explored as one of the factors, and not the least important factor, that contribute to «translate» certain social causes into specific criminal effects. | - |
