| dc.description | La Argentina se ha unido a la tendencia mundial de incorporar las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) en las escuelas a través del "Programa Conectar Igualdad" (PCI) en 2010, con el objetivo de "reducir la brecha digital y mejorar la calidad de la educación pública en la escuela secundaria". Mientras que algunos de los supuestos que se plantean desde el modelo 1@1 ("una computadora por alumno") son retomados por el PCI, otros son rechazados o re-significados. La brecha digital a la que se alude hace referencia a un tipo particular de desigualdad: la relacionada con el acceso a los medios tecnológicos necesarios para ser incluidos en una "nueva sociedad". En este contexto, el gobierno realizó una entrega masiva de computadoras a los alumnos de las escuelas públicas de nivel medio de Argentina. | - |
| dc.description | Argentina has joined the worldwide trend of incorporating Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in schools through the "Connect Equality Program" (CEP) in 2010, with the objective of "reducing the digital divide and improving the quality of public education in high school." While some of the assumptions raised from the 1@1 model ("one computer per student") are taken up by the CEP, others are rejected or re-signaled. The digital divide referred to refers to a particular type of inequality: that related to access to the technological means necessary to be included in a "new society". In this context, the government made a massive delivery of computers to the students of public high schools in Argentina. | - |
