| dc.description | En este trabajo se muestra que el Espartillero Pampeano (<i>Asthenes hudsoni</i>) posee dos cantos bien diferenciados y que ambos pueden ser emitidos por un mismo individuo. Uno de los cantos es similar al de otros espartilleros como el Espartillero Austral (<i>Asthenes anthoides</i>), el Espartillero Serrano (<i>Asthenes sclateri</i>) y el Espartillero de Espalda Estriada (<i>Asthenes wyatti</i>). Es necesario estudiar si ambos sexos de <i>Asthenes hudsoni</i> son capaces de emitir los dos tipos de canto, cuál es su función y si los otros espartilleros tienen también dos vocalizaciones en su repertorio. Es posible que el origen del registro erróneo de <i>Asthenes anthoides</i> en la provincia de Buenos Aires haya sido el resultado de una confusión por las dos vocalizaciones de <i>Asthenes hudsoni</i>. | - |
| dc.description | In this study we show that Hudson’s Canastero (<i>Asthenes hudsoni</i>) has two different calls emitted by the same individual. One of the calls is similar to those of other streak-backed Canasteros such as the Austral Canastero (<i>Asthenes anthoides</i>), the Puna Canastero (<i>Asthenes sclateri</i>), and the Streak-backed Canastero (<i>Asthenes wyatti</i>). It is necessary to study whether both sexes of <i>Asthenes hudsoni</i> emit both call types, what function these calls play and whether the other streak-backed canasteros also have both call types in their repertoires. Confusion with the two calls of <i>Asthenes hudsoni</i> could be the origin of the erroneous records of <i>Asthenes anthoides</i> for Buenos Aires Province. | - |
