| dc.description | The bird-banding in Brazil, its past, present and future is discused in tbe paper. The Centro de Estudos de migraçoes de Aves (CEMAVE), its organization and level of acting is presented. The bird hunting activity in Brazil will be done with the CEMAVE'S background furnished by bird-banding and recovery data on game species. The northern and southern migrants ocurrence, its ecosystem diversity, the evolutional and distributional patterns of birds in tropical and sub-tropical zones will be the major factors for the bird-banding development in Brazil. | - |
